VIP Synergy (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides boutique business advisory services accessible at vip-synergy.com. For the purposes of EU data protection law, VIP Synergy is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

Data we collect

Email address — provided during checkout and used to create your account and send your portal access link.
Payment data — processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. We receive only confirmation of payment and your email address. We never handle, store, or see your card details.
IP address — recorded at checkout and on each asset download for security and legal compliance purposes.
Consent record — the timestamp and version of the right-of-withdrawal waiver you accepted at the time of purchase.
Download logs — date, time, IP address, and module identifier each time a document is accessed from your portal.

How we use data

To create and maintain your client account and portal access.
To deliver your purchased advisory documents via secure, time-limited download links.
To send transactional emails (portal access links) via Resend. We do not send marketing emails without separate consent.
To maintain audit records of consent and downloads as required by EU consumer protection law.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or any purpose other than service delivery.
Sub-processors: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing); Resend, Inc. (transactional email); Supabase, Inc. (data storage); Vercel, Inc. (hosting).

Retention

Account and purchase data — retained while your account is active and for 7 years after your last purchase to satisfy tax and audit obligations.
Download logs — retained for 3 years.
Consent records — retained indefinitely. These records are required for legal compliance and cannot be deleted; they may be anonymised upon account deletion.
You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing info@vip-synergy.com.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated data (subject to legal retention obligations).
